The Whole Foods store was vandalized. Bank of America had its windows smashed. Reports of vandalism keep flooding Twitter.

I've also seen it circulating on Twitter that other protesters were cleaning off the graffiti.

If anybody gets too upset about it, ask them if they're cool with police beating and gassing protesters and putting Scott Olsen in the hospital. If they say yes, then ask them why they value a corporation's property over human life.

17. at the noon presser interim cheif Jordon mentioned a "small

group of disruptive people" and also mention the P.D. has been informed of these people by folk in Occupy Oakland. He and the brass have to be well aware of agent provocateurs since protests and random gaffiti is nothing new in Oakland. The same black clad and masked guys did the same stuff at anti war marches in SF.

I don't have much good to say about OPD but I believe they're aware of these people and have an idea of how to handle them.

That Whole Foods store is about a mile away from 14th & Broadway on the far end of Lake Merrit, in local terms no where near where the action is. The BofA branch looks like its in City Center which is right across East 14th from city hall and the plaza.
