My reply to the Nat. Organization for Marriage.

I received a solicitation in the mail from the National Organization for Marriage. Some astroturf, homophobic group gainst equal marriage. It was in the form of a bullshit survey.
So I wrote across the survey in big letters with a pink magic marker:

"BLOW ME!"

And mailed it back to them.

Was it for a NICE thing?

3. They wanted money

and offered nothing but feeling good about keeping down 'the Gays'.

Don't know how I got on their mailing list.

5. How insensitive

Everyone is dealing with the news of the break-up of Kim Kardashian's marriage differently. Some people right here at DU have had their lives reduced to a shambles. Others have given serious consideration to entering the cloister or just ending it all, no longer willing to live in a world where the deck is so heavily stacked against the likes of the Kardashians. Strong men weep at her plight. The National Organization for Marriage has simply decided now is a good time to put its hand out for money to make them feel all better.

9. I got calls from them during the

NY same sex marriage vote in the Senate asking me to help stop it.
I was polite, but told them that every time they call me to get me to "call my Senator", I would give 5 dollars to to GLAD.
