Greece to hold referendum on new EU deal: report

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou said Monday the government will hold a referendum on a new European Union aid package, giving voters a say in whether they support it or not, Reuters reported on its website. A recent survey showed that almost 60% of Greeks view last week's EU deal on a new 130 billion euro ($181 billion) bailout package as negative or probably negative, the news agency said.
