So chemical/pesticide/energy corporations get a reduction of regulation, or an regulation
environment that suits them, then they don't have to react or act on all the science that will be coming out linking environmental pollution to all sorts of health concerns. How long did the tabacco industry deny, deny, deny before they were forced to concede smoking caused cancer? 40 years? And the tabacco industry continued to make huge profits all those years. So as far as corporations can make regulations disappear now, it will give them more lag time between when they have to act to scientific studies proving a danger to public health in the future. The lag time was over a generation for big tabacco. That is a huge fortune. Billions. They certainly are getting their money's worth by spending millions of dollars on the GOP every election cycle and think tanks. All the while getting tax cuts on their personal fortunes.
