Hello. You don’t know me under this name. For reasons that are going to be obvious soon, I didn’t wish to send you this message with my usual Free Republic account. This message is an invitation, a welcome to a new forum called TrueBlueFreedom.com

While I love the people who make up Free Republic, I have many complaints about Jim Robinson and his cronies who run the actual website. Over and over again, whenever somebody has complained or offered suggestions, they have been told by JimRob and others to go and start their own website if they know so much. Well, I’ve decided to take them up on that offer.

An FR splinter group.....:rofl::rofl: :rofl::rofl::rofl:

3. Complete with mis-spellings and mis-use of words.
Jim and his son John have repeated stated that if.........

But...lol...check this out:
" The third reason is that JimRob is, in my opinion, a petty tyrant.
How many of you know somebody who was purged? How many wonder if you may be next on the list?"

Hmmm..where have I heard something like that before?

Just not for the purpose of helping the less fortunate, the sick who have no insurance, the unemployed, the mentally ill with no medical guidance, & on & on.

14. They actually can be quite generous indeed, they just don't like Govt doing it.
Unfortunately for them, and as we can see, Govt does do a good job for seniors and others with soc sec, food stamps medicaid, stc. And this despite decades of Republican obstruction, defunding, bad-mouthing, etc.

They believe that the private sector could take up the slack. It couldn't, at least not with consistency.

17. Oh yeah, the "private sector" thingy...
As someone who has a rabid-fundie second cousin whose husband is a preacher, let me provide a peek into what the reality is about their attitudes. I attended a church service out of curiosity, & his sermon was filled with fire & brimstone, plus a strong admonition against church members who visit only sporadically. While talking to my cousin later about her son-in-law's sermon, I was told that the SIL was hurting for money, that he wasn't getting enough tithings. In fact, I was called one month when the power company threated to cut off their electricity unless they paid $300 by the end of the week. I was at their house when the phone company left a message asking for payment; they didn't answer the phone.

These same people sneer at the government providing for the less fortunate, but -- get this -- their insurance is -- ready? -- Medicaid!

These are the kind of people that the poor are to depend on for help? These fundies can't even take care of themselves! And their hearts, frankly, aren't my idea of what being a Christian is all about.

31. The R's have a few songs in their repetoire that they sing along with...
anti-abortion, anti-gay (my second cousin & I don't speak to each other after a heated exchange on that one), & any other fundie issue.

It's laughable that they support those who not only could care less about their day-to-day financial hardships, but want to make life worse for them. Their explanation? "God will provide."

I say, "God's work is truly our own" & "Beware of false prophets."

13. Is FR now an official "only dreamy Sarah Palin is acceptable" site?
I ask because the owner's "wankers for Rudy McRomey can KMA" would seem to say he's already declared supporting Giuliani and Romney (and McCain, for good measure) verboten.

If so, then the site must be on limited time anyway. There's only so long they'll be able to pretend she's electable.

So, what's wrong? If my stealth freeper can build a better mousetrap, so to speak (or rat trap), isn't that the free market at work? FR is a clunky looking, old-fashioned mess. Maybe True Blue can do a better job? And, after all, isn't America a meritocracy?

EDIT- Oh, the irony!

To: All

He must be homosexual.
He’s mad homosexuality isn’t considered conservative by reasonable people.

True blue is probable more like Log Cabin Purple.

How can anyone who believes going against God’s created order is good think they are being conservative?

Lost and blind without understanding or God’s peace.
