Occupy Minneapolis did something really clever --

The cops said the reason they couldn't pitch tents near the Government Center was because they couldn't see what was inside the tents. So -- the occupiers brought in tents made out of clear plastic. Nobody has been arrested for camping yet.

3. I was there when the tents were put up.

The cops gave us a warning that they were going to come in five minutes, but it has now been hours since that five minute warning and nothing has happened. They could potentially move in tonight, but I don't think it will happen. I do think the tents will probably be seized at some point, but it will happen when not many people are around.

Which, given the neutral tone of the article, is surprising to me.

It's probably safe to say very few of these people would say anything like this to your face. Internet comments tend to bring out extreme and vile opinions that most people know are unacceptable to express in real life.
