The corporatist media always trivializes upr protests.

I marched in SF before the war in 2003. We walked from he Embaradero to City Hall. We were shoulder to shoulder across Market St. The march lasted aout three hours. Had to be a minimum of 750,000 people, maybe more. I was in the front of the march. When I looked back, all I could see was a mass of people as far as the eye could see. SF paper said "tens of thousands."

You're absolutely right and Market Street is a very wide street with two lanes in each direction plus a lane for the electric cars and for more than two hours I watched people walking by. They were shoulder to shoulder and pretty closely packed. People from all over the Bay Area were there.

My legs were killing me from standing in one place for so long. But it was worth it. Then when I heard the media ignored it and the number of people they claimed were there I knew they were lying.
