Pictures from Occupy Milwaukee (need I say pic heavy?)
It is being held at Zeidler Union Square. Frank Paul Zeidler (September 20, 1912 – July 7, 2006) was an American Socialist politician and Mayor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, serving three terms from April 20, 1948 to April 18, 1960.

There were a couple thousand there at 11:00 and the march to Chase started a bit early - around noon.

Lots of MPD and county sheriffs - mounted, unmounted, SWAT... all seemed kind

The crowd thinned dramatically, but there are still quite a few there enjoying a potluck dinner, drumcircling and passing the open mic. It was windier than hell, but a beautiful day. Rob Zerban, who is running against Paul Ryan marched with us. A ton of Recall Walker efforts, a few Paulistinians and a teabagger who tried to start shit with me because he was offended by my sign. Overall a peaceful protest with no violence or arrests.

9. I did see one "encounter" between police and a protester. Sorry I didn't get a pic....
... of the officer assisting the woman, who had fallen.

Cross link to my post, same topic, different pics...

The wall of mounted units near Chase looked a bit intimidating for a minute, but the cops were all very pleasant. Word on the street is that they will be told to leave at 10:00. There are requests that people contact Chris Able and ask him to let them stay: Call County Exec Abele 4142784211

10. Damn dirty hippies!
Oh wait, they're not. But, but, but Fox news says they're all dirty hippies. Does not compute.

12. There was also no sex in the streets nor any defecating on police cars.
But the police horses did poop all over Wisconsin Ave. We'll get blamed for that, no doubt.
