Eric Erickson, Founder of the "We are the 53%" Site, Whines about His Brand New House and His
Well-Paid CNN Gig

http://www.nationofchange.org/erick-erickson-founder-we...

EricksonMounting a clever public relations gimmick to conceal the fact that nearly every American pays taxes in the form of payroll taxes, sales taxes, and fees, CNNs Erick Erickson helped start the We Are The 53% website. The website, a parody of the popular We Are The 99 Percent Tumblr, features Americans posting messages about how they work hard and do not complain about diminishing living standards or the phenomenon that a tiny segment of the population is slowly accumulating most of the nations wealth.

Ericksons message is a scribbled rant that reads:

I work 3 jobs./I have a house I cant sell./My family insurance costs are outrageous./But I dont blame Wall Street./Suck it up you whiners./I am the 53% subsidizing you so you can hang out on Wall Street and complain.

The three jobs Erickson wants you to believe he scraps by on include occasional paid opinion blogging at RedState.com, a lucrative television contract with CNN, and a radio gig that paid the previous host $165,183 a year (Herman Cains financial disclosures show he was paid this amount before Erickson took over his spot). The house Erickson cant sell? Bibb County, Georgia records reveal that Erickson just bought a new $374,900 house in February of this year, and owns another that, according to an estimate by the website Zillow, might be worth slightly less than the amount he paid for it in 2001. And its likely that Ericksons CNN job alone provides him with a personal driver and covered travel expenses when he needs to appear on the show.

1. Do fuckers like Erickson not understand even the most basic
concepts involving information that may be obtained through the Internet?

K&R.

2. They're really not that bright...

and their message: "We love getting the shaft from corrupt corporations" is silly, at best. And in his case, it's entirely untrue. He's being paid handsomely for being an idiot.

Further, anyone who buys a house in a bad housing market takes their chances.

3. here's a great website that skewer's the whole idea of the 53%
who are seemingly in favor of Wall Street's continued screwing-

http://actuallyyourethe47percent.tumblr.com / if they had any political self-awareness, they'd understand how silly their support for Erickson's 53% baloney really is.

6. Well his "jobs" don't actually consist of "work"
Edited on Wed Oct-12-11 01:40 PM by SomethingFishy
so....

YOur thought was my first thought as well when I read the 53% thing. "Hey dumbass they are out there so you don't have to work 3 jobs". But then I found out it was Erickson that was complaining. 3 jobs my ass. Blogger and CNN commentator don't even add up to a tenth of the work on a construction site. He's nothing but a crybaby.
