1. This has to be our biggest fear! Who is going to prevent our elections
from being stolen in the 2012 elections? We have the E-vote with companies like ES&S and Diebold (Both Republican leaning companies) that represent 80% of our vote for President in the next election.

2. Shameless Bump
because the GOP lies and steals, they have FOX, Limbaugh, and hundreds more local right-wing propagandists on the radio and TV across the land, and we DON'T.
We must stay informed.

3. live internet cameras 24/7 watch every polling place and then vote counting place?
Recent news said some towns putting (closed circuIt) cameras on every town cop's lapel... So cameras must be cheap eno for my idea..or nearly so.

If "votecameras" not onto web live,
At least they could record on thumbdrives for evidence later.

"Many eyes watching"

is the slogan floating around for decades..great one.

5. the (hopefully someday famous) "6 Points" of election reform
 paper ballots,
hand counted,
precinct level,
many eyes,
election BOARD (never one sec. of state) , and

cash-free-campaigns.

-------------------------

This last point...cfc's: all media are required to give free space to candidates, in proportion to poll strength but with some extra given to small fringe candidates to "level things a bit".

IIRC this was/is done in Holland. Parties not allowed to spend ANY cash on ads. Ends the problem of PAC's and GOP advantage with billionaire cash.

Also; many eyes..I like having not only our people watch the counting but also foreign observers. Would get us some credibility overseas as "responsible adults".

Pls memorize these 6 points
