OWS Photos 10/6

What these kids have done here is nothing short of a miracle. The place is well run, clean,
they are meeting the needs of all who wish to participate. They even have Free Health Care,
should it be needed. Naomi Klein gave us all a pep talk filled with wise words and cautioned
us that basically we have chosen to pick a fight with Goliath. But its a fight thats time has
come and it must maintain its integrity with special care given to following a non-violent
path. She has told us to expect it to only get tougher. Encouraged us to stay strong.

The people I've met that have been there throughout know what they are doing. We had about
50 different conversation with new comrades, including interviews by Rolling Stone, a TV news crew
from Estonia, Japan, Rutgers, Cornell, and a local channel PIX 11, plus spoke to a couple whom
retired from the financial and banking industry supporting this movement entirely, debates
with law student who were curious, and came away impressed, among just a few.

We joined an impromptu march through Wall Street itself. The fat cats sure glared at my sign.
We were probably on 100 strong, but at least two hundred cops marched before, beside and behind
us. I wasn't entirely sure what that would lead to, but we looped back to Zocotti Park without
incident.

Every day more and more people are arriving. Looks long term to me.
Namaste

6. Or they come back in the spring, building on what they've learned.
There's a lot that can be done indoors in the winter.

9. True. Actually that's very possible now that I think of it.
They can spend the entire winter building up support groups and come back with a vengeance. Otherwise places like Tuscon should be able to go throughout the winter, and that can help build the network.

I really just like saying "winter is coming." Heh.

11. And, as I've said elsewhere, THAT is why the Republicons want to
decimate education -- so the populace is less well-educated, more easily led -- and conned. Believe it.
