1. They all ought to be ashamed of themselves!
The media people are useless to us.

3. You watch Morning Joke did they cover it?

What I think is sick is that a couple of teabaggers show up for a few hours anywhere on the planet and the TV media jump on it for days.

5. Teabaggers = Koch Brothers. Media = Koch Brothers. Teabaggers = Media.
The Koch Brothers must have plans to ruin the protests. That's why the media has stopped their blackout.

6. Yes, they did! Mika was pretty strong (for once). I emailed the show
yesterday in a fit of pique over that kid getting arrested and said "Mika, you have daughters around that kid's age! You should speak up!" I hope she read it but I don't harbor such illusions.

Still, she did what I had hoped: she read from Nicholas Kristof's piece in the NYT yesterday, comparing the OWS protest to Tahrir Square (which Kristof covered firsthand, if I am not mistaken). Then, that idiot Willy Geist started to run his mouth about the comparison to Tahrir Square. I was muttering "Yeah, like YOU were anywhere NEAR Tahrir Square, you little pisher!"

11. When you have enough protestors to have 700+ arrested, that's news
I can see from a purely logical standpoint why the M$M haven't covered this extensively yet (I know there are corporate reasons not to cover it but that's beside MY point at the moment).

They wanted something "juicy" to report and large numbers of arrests is indeed juicy. Also, it appears, since the movement is spreading, it's not going to peter out and go away like I'm sure some folks thought would happen. Since the protests are gaining momentum, now is really an optimal time to report on them.

That said, there should have been more notable mentions before now.
