Listen to Ed!!
Anyone listening to his words of warning? The enthusiasm gap between Republicans and Democrats about voting in 2012 is 58% to 45%. Schultz aptly said "if these numbers hold up, we're going to get our asses kicked." "Well Obama disappointed us, so I'm staying home".....well consider the alternative....

Social Security--Privatized
Medicare--Voucherized
Medicaid--ELIMINATED
Collective Bargaining--Destroye
Supreme Court--Don't even want to think about it

If you think the Bush-Cheney Administration was bad, take a look at how much the Republican Party has changed in less than three (3) years. We cannot let this happen, folks. The time to wake up is NOW, not after the tea-baggers have taken over both ends of Pennsylvania Ave. and systematically destroy everything progressives have accomplished over the last 100+ years.

4. Without actually changing the system, there isn't much more one can do. People get angry
when that is said, but for now all we can really do is vote D and work to try and change the system itself, although I honestly don't know how to do that.

5. Listen to Ed? Ed is hysterical and doesn't exercise critical judgement at all...
It is the Republican Party who doesn't like its candidates.

If Obama were in that much trouble, then why can the Teabagging Wingnuts rally behind one fucking candidate?

Instead, the Corporate Media continues to try and ram Mitt Romney down our throats.

Again, will we fall for it, or are we ready to unite?

Note: Every voter is upset with politicians, including Obama right now! With the economy the way it is and a dysfunctional government, of course enthusiasm is going to be down! DUH!!!

Ed needs to get a grip. His rhetoric and emotional imbalance will demoralize the party, as it partly did in 2010. We need to stop falling for our own sense of inferiority and FIGHT!!!

17. Thank you ....
For those disappointed DUers that take every opportunity to "constructive criticize" President Obama, go to the polls to vote the down ticket ...
And while you're there pull the lever for President Obama, since you're there anyway.

6. So you are saying that those that still got, should do what they have to to keep as much
as they can. There are millions (number growing daily) that dont have much to lose.

7. We cannot let the bat shit right win this election, no mater what! Damn, there
are allot of things that need to be improved on in the next several months though; ie: Voting machines, getting out the vote, and so many other things.

11. I think it is crucial to be clear that this is POST BUSH AMERICA, not Obama's economy.
I think the notion of "Obama's economy" is a very dangerous problem we face.

23. Biden says it is Obama's economy.
Why would he say that?

I think Obama/Biden are trying to depress the Democratic turn out. Just like in 2010 when they extended the Bush tax cuts right before the election.

12. I totally agree. CNN has a poll right now asking about the constitutionality of Social Security! WTH
The very fact that all of the things that make this country great are being attacked should make all of us rise up and protest. We can't let this happen

16. The point is that the Internet have been feeding this stuff
with all of the negativity for some time now.

Either we turn back now, or it will soon be too late.
I knew it would come to this, and I tried to warn folks,
who apparently don't give a shit.

When they get theirs, I hope they realize that they worked
hard for it. Period.

18. It's reverse psychology...
Intermediate chess, if you will.

The left makes the right think that they are so pissed off at Obama that they will not vote. The right, not too crazy about their candidate and thinking Obama is sure to lose, will stay home in sufficient numbers to let Obama win whenever the left votes in much larger numbers than the right could ever imagine.

See how simple it is? :-)

22. You're WAY oversimplifying this....
...the Republicans in general may not currently be thrilled with their slew of candidates but they WILL rally behind whomever the eventual nominee is. Their hatred of Obama (and liberals in general) is SOOOO strong right now there is absolutely NOTHING that would deter them from getting into a voting booth next year. We HAVE to be there to match them body-for-body at the polls.
