not showing up where he's not wanted. His excuse of conflict with the plane ride is reasonable. Someone had to preside over the house ceremony for the "left behinds." He couldn't go with the president, who already had Jon Kyl on board. :eyes:

How could you blame Boehner for staying out of the firing line, ehr, spot light when he had nothing to add, and so much to answer for? He should read some scripture, or add some pithy thoughts to the oncoming presidential dreadnought, or just fucking cry?

I'll give Boehner credit for knowing when to play "safe." (I also counsel being careful what you ask for.)


The cocktail party is a different matter. He's not in Arizona; you want him to pay for his own drinks? :shrug:
