Palin aide Rebecca "Non-Violent Crosshairs" Mansour: Accusations against her boss "incite violence"
Edited on Thu Jan-13-11 04:23 PM by Amerigo Vespucci
An aide to Sarah Palin tells CBS News that there has been an increase in death threats against the former Alaska governor in the wake of the shootings in Tucson.

The aide did not provide details concerning the volume of threats, how much have they increased or whether they are being referred to the authorities.

A different Palin aide, Rebecca Mansour, told USA Today that the increase in threats since Saturday has been "incredible."

"There has been an incredible increase in death threats against Gov. Palin since the tragedy in Arizona, since she's been accused of having the blood of those victims on her hands," she said. "When you start to accuse people of having the blood of innocent people on their hands, it incites violence."

6. I believe that quote has been edited.
It doesn't show the 50 "ya know?" she probably used.

7. But how can that be, Rebecca?
How can my words incite someone to violence, but the words of Saint Sarah do not?

How is that possible, Rebecca?

8. Poor Sarah
Six dead, thirteen injured including Gifford whose life will change forever and they're talking about threats to the person who put cross hairs on the Congresswoman's district and was called for it by Gabby Giffords.

Fuck you both very much!!

9. Palin herself said the same thing in her speech
After denying that her own rhetoric was inciteful to violence, she said that her opponents' criticism of her "serves only to incite...violence."

L.A. Times columnist Doyle McManus pointed this out in his op-ed column today on Palin's speech:

Palin comes out swinging, and misses

13. Well I Certainly Hope
all these death threats are turned over to the authorities. I would hate to think they are just being ignored and reported to the Liberal media.

That they're prone to violence when accused.

20. Right. And I have a non-violent .357 magnum in my pocket right now..
She has been provoking and inciting this shit since the campaign in 2008-remember the people calling out "Kill him", referring to Obama? For her-and indeed the right in general-to get all upset because people FINALLY call her on it after over 2 years is a poor joke.

Then, SHE is a poor joke.
