The Most Nervous Moment of Bush's Presidency

Former President George W. Bush told HBO the most nerve wracking moment of his presidency was during Game one of the 2001 World Series:

Said Bush: "The adrenaline was coursing through my veins, and the ball felt like a shotput. And Todd Greene, the catcher, looked really small. Sixty feet and six inches seemed like a half-mile. And anyway, I took a deep breath and threw it, and thankfully it went over the plate. The response was overwhelming. It was the most nervous I had ever been. It was the most nervous moment of my entire presidency, it turns out."

1. Unbelievable... I will tell you my most nervous moment
It was when Obama was walking him to his waiting helicopter on Inauguration Day. I was shocked that Bush was leaving willingly, and I suspect that immunity from prosecution is the deal that was struck.

2. Anybody who saw the panicky look on his face in that classroom on 9/11
will call bullshit on that. He was scared out of his gourd.

It's all part of the 10 year attempt to rebrand him as a decisive leader with ice water in his veins but I don't think it's gonna work.

In spite of a huge assist from the fawning media.

.... throw that pitch. start at about 40 seconds.

He threw a great pitch and that told me that the man despite 9/11 and all that other stuff the man had
spent a lot time practicing for his moment to shine.

BTW at the start of the video W licks his fingers before shacking hands w/ a ball player. :puke:

BTW part 2 W's greatest accomplishment as President was catching a fish in his stocked pond.

Asked to name his "most wonderful moment" in office during an interview with the German newspaper Bild, President Bush had this to say:

"I would say the best moment of all was when I caught a 7.5 pound largemouth bass in my lake."

6. Dreams..Dreams..Dreams that maybe
just maybe one day someone will have the gusts to step forward and call for an investigation of him and his whole administration on all the rotten things they've done to this country "MAINLY 9/11'...and prosecute them all.

7. He told Peggy Noonan that 9/11 ended on a humerous note.

Peggy Noonan (interviewer): So the day starts in tragedy and ends in Marx Brothers.

George W. Bush: That’s right — we got a laugh out of it.

9. Bush's Best Moment In Office? Catching a Fish.
Edited on Tue Sep-13-11 08:05 AM by Ian David
Asked to name his "most wonderful moment" in office during an interview with the German newspaper Bild, President Bush had this to say:

"I would say the best moment of all was when I caught a 7.5 pound largemouth bass in my lake."

It brings to mind Bush's equally idiotic response from a couple of years ago when he was asked to name the biggest mistake he'd made, and he said this:

"I wish you'd have given me this written question ahead of time so I could plan for it…I'm sure something will pop into my head here in the midst of this press conference, with all the pressure of trying to come up with answer, but it hadn't yet….I don't want to sound like I have made no mistakes. I'm confident I have. I just haven't — you just put me under the spot here, and maybe I'm not as quick on my feet as I should be in coming up with one."
