If you can't stand the Toby Keith/Lee Greenwood version of what to think on 9/11,
here's a much different perspective in a song by Alan Jackson:
'Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning.'

BTW Natalie Maines got into a feud with Toby Keith. After some thought it had died down, she wore a shirt at the
Academy of Country Music Awards show with "F.U.T.K." on it. She said it stood for "freedom, understanding, tolerance, knowledge."

I miss the Dixie Chicks!

1. I love the alan jackson song. I think that more represents how I feel.
It still makes me shed a tear to this day.

3. A quiet & thoughtful song. Worth a listen on 9/11.
I know a lot of people don't like country music. This is country, but it's the antithesis of the Toby Keith variety. I loathe him and that shite John Rich too.

4. You know what piece of music I identify with 9/11?
Barber's Adagio for Strings.
