Castagnola's have been trying to bust the union since spring of 2011...
when the restaurant went up for sale for six million dollars. It is a union restaurant and all interested buyers stated that they would only consider buying without a contract. The Castagnola family tried to lock out the workers in March by closing down the restaurant but their contract with the Port of San Francisco requires them to stay open or they lose their lease by default so they were compelled to stay open.

In response they hired union busting management.

San Francisco is a union town. We will support these workers. Solidarity!

5. You really should change your avatar.
Nothing liberal about being anti-union.

Militancy happens when people get tired of eating shit, and being shit on.
