"The proposed Keystone XL pipeline is dangerous, destructive and unnecessary, and I urge you not to grant the project the needed "presidential permit" that would allow its construction.

It will hasten our rush towards catastrophic global warming, threaten wildlife and drinking water, keep America addicted to oil, and undercut the growing clean energy economy. We need to develop clean, green energy right here in the United States, not deepen our dangerous addiction to oil.

Do not allow the Keystone XL pipeline to keep us addicted to oil and threaten our towns and communities from the growing threat of climate change."
