I am no longer surprised by his wilful destruction of the social safety net. And I am beyond being angry, simply disappointed. it is the 1900's all over again, robber barons, and monopolies rule. And we're all fucked.

1. If you'll notice, not even the Republicans are attacking Obama.
There's nothing the Republicans have to attack him for.

5. It's just getting rediculous now.
And sadly the DNC is too blind to see that a primary challenge, even if there's no chance at winning, will at least show that there's a solid need for more progressive legislation and not more of the caving into Republicon stuff we've been getting.

16. And that's really why the Republican leadership hates him...

he continually outflanks them from the right.

Now the TP rank and file have their own, viler reasons....

8. We'll all be coughing up something, like a lung, for instance.
Wonder how Obama will feel if one of HIS kids comes down with a chronic respiratory disease, like asthma. I also wonder how much secondhand smoke they've been subjected to in their short little lives.

I wonder if he sleeps well at night? Maybe someone should ask him.

9. Someone should tell this to Sen Boxer. I just received this email:
If you want clean air and safe water for your family, neighborhoods free of hazardous waste, and our precious natural lands protected, we need your help now.

Extreme Republicans in Congress are trying to shut down the Environmental Protection Agency, repeal the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act, and defund efforts by the Department of the Interior to protect our nation's wildlife and natural treasures.

And we must stop them.

12. Hey, Obama! ACT LIKE A DEMOCRAT! YOU'LL BE AMAZED AT HOW POPULAR YOU GET!
Seriously, I thought you were a Democrat. That's why I voted for you in 2008.

"Deregulation" is a big reason for how we turned the America into an enormous cesspool for Big Bidness and looted the Middle Class.

Edited on Fri Sep-02-11 12:34 PM by Davis_X_Machina
...what he was asked to do, beginning over a year ago, by Democratic senators.

As is so often the case, Congress, in this case the Democratically-controlled Senate -- is the culprit.

Won't pass legislation, won't permit regulation.
