Do we really have a country or is it nothing more than a hybrid market place,
a world wide bizarre, if you will, whose only purpose is to accumulate wealth for those pulling the string.

This came to me when I saw another post here about France upping the highest tax rate in order to help close their budget deficit. This was being done at the request of not the "socialists" the American press loves to claim France is riddled with, but the capitalists who feel an affinity toward their country.

And then I started to think how much acrimony was spewed on Warren Buffet when he basically was saying tax us, we have all the money.

You would have thought all hell broke loose in swell land, you know that land that subscribes to the tenant that I got mine so FUCK YOU...

There is no sense of country for these people, no pride of nationalism or even a national identity.

They move their wealth off shore at the drop of a hint of perhaps a tax hike might be coming someday down the road.

They would rather spend millions to control politicians than pay taxes for the common good.

Unless, of course, it has to do with the armed forces which really is, if you really look at it, a protection racket. By that I mean they have intertwined national interests with the personal interests of those who depend on the free flow of goods and services all across the world. They have conned the rest of us to believe that we have a national interest in having 11 full carrier groups roaming the seas at any given time.

They have no shame and the media, since it is controlled by the wealthiest of the wealthy, stokes this anti-government fervor for one reason and one reason only, to protect the uber class, the top tier of the top tier, the swellest of the swells.

People, we don't have a country, Perhaps we never did. We have one purpose and one purpose only and that is to make money, well money for the ones sitting at the top. The rest of us, well, we can just go fuck ourselves as long as we shop till we drop.

4. Our gov't is a racket.
I've been saying it for a while.

The US is right now a failed state. Vultures with no allegiance to the USA are eating us alive, taking full advantage of the laws that restrain our resistance, while we are distracted by this Blue Team v. Red Team game that will never be won. I think it's time we stopped pretending and just admit it: We don't have a gov't of, by, or for the people. We don't. Then the thing to do is to decide whether we can change it and how to begin.

8. Welcome to the end results of capitalism.
Capitalism will ultimately strangle any democracy it encounters and replace it with an Oligarchy.

10. America was founded as a get rich quick scheme. Literally. That's all it was ever meant to be.
For a while there the New Deal and WW2 had us tricked into believing we were a country, all in it together. We weren't. Well we were but Reaganauts had different ideas. And you can't be all in it together, sink or swim, all for one and one for all, with a bunch of people who wonder how much money they'd make selling your hides for lampshades.

12. It's what the world has been for a long time. They destroy & create "countries" for their own
purposes.
