Of course, this kind of stuff happens everywhere. And I guess every state has at least one elected official who periodically makes incredibly stupid remarks.

somewhere there are either "guards of the universe" or "gods" floating around

who are as crazy as we are!

I was going to mention my state -- but it's NJ so what can I say --

Embarrassed that we've let this Supreme Court nonsense go on for decades ---

and by the lack of support for the needy by this president!!

I'm embarrassed for the acts of stupid individuals throughout ALL of western 'civilization.'

On edit: might as well include the rest of humanity. I'll say I'm embarrassed for the acts of stupid humans, wherever they reside & whatever 'culture' they embrace.

I live in one of the most made fun of states in the union, and reality TV certainly does not help our cause.

I'm even more embarrassed by the fat fuck that is occupying the governor's mansion. IMO he was the inspiration for all the other crazy RW governors (Walker, Kasich, etc).

Mr. Hands? Nope. I didn't do it, it doesn't embarass me.
Exitpoint Stallions? Nope. I didn't do it, it doesn't embarass me.

(Note: Mr. Hands and Exitpoint Stallions are NSFW to even Google. Trust me.)

We once had the Ku Klux Klan and the Wobblies active here - at the same time. My own county contains hippies, metrosexuals, redneck secessionists, even redneck hippie metrosexual secessionists. Life goes on.

While I've got plenty to be embarrassed about, the behavior of the incredibly stupid isn't terribly high on the list.
