I guess this is the jobs program Obama has been coyly alluding to: jobs for illegal aliens that is. Remember, every illegal alien granted a work permit when caught illegally entering the U.S. is one more worker competing for jobs with actual citizens.

4. I have been reading conservative sites today

about this and they are having an absolute shit fit in their drawers. Anything that pisses of the RW whack jobs is fine by me.

6. I heard that in Georgia they are unable to harvest crops because of the record number ....

of deportations and self deportations. There aren't a lot of people lining up to work a back breaking job for minimum wages or less... I don't know if this is related to that happening or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is a connection.

7. So far, under Obama deportations have been at record levels

and illegal immigration has slowed to a trickle.

There haven't been any big SWAT-team dragnets like under bush, but he has fully funded and supported the efforts to enforce immigration law, in spite of what people think.

As far as the current thing, I haven't read much about it yet...
