Kentucky Church Booted Over PFLAG

A church in Owensboro, Ky., has been removed from its Baptist organization because it allowed members of a gay support group to meet in its building.

The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer reports that the Daviess-McLean Baptist Association voted 242-24 for the removal of Journey Fellowship because of its relationship with Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays.

Bob Coons, the church’s pastor, who explained to the organization’s credentials committee two months ago that Journey Fellowship didn’t sponsor PFLAG in any way beyond its agreement to share building space, said he wasn’t surprised by the outcome.

1. But, dear Baptists, what happened to 'once saved always saved?'
Oh, I guess that's only for our war criminal former pResident who is now NOTHING but a couch potato.
