And maybe Sarah Palin is only one overheated molecule whose agitation led to the tragedy.

But surely, what all must acknowledge now is that putting out a map with cross hairs representing your political opponents was a stupid thing to do.

And while it takes a certain kind of idiot to put up a map of cross hairs representing your political opponents, it takes an even more pronounced kind of idiocy to not be able to anticipate the fallout if, by sheer chance, one of those opponents actually gets shot.

What obviously should be clear now is that Sarah Palin does not have the foresight it takes to be President, or Mayor of Walissa if you want to be honest about it. And this would be my talking point. "Putting up that poster was such a bad decision that Sarah Palin can never again be taken seriously as a national leader.

Because putting that map up was a stupid idea, a stupid, stupid thing to do, morally stupid, ethically stupid, politically stupid (promising always short term red meat gain at the cost of potential long term pain) it should be very easy to tie the stupid cowbell on Ms. Palin now.

She really has no defense from being called stupid. Again, maybe there is no direct causation between her postings and the tragedy in Tuscon. But, at the least, it was a very stupid thing to bring your career into that line of fire. Just plain stupid.
