Police seek ex in robbery of Big Beaver exotic dancer

BIG BEAVER, Pa. (AP) — Police say they're searching for the ex-boyfriend of an exotic dancer who was robbed after the man accosted her after hiding in the back of her sport-utility vehicle.

Police in Big Beaver say 29-year-old Larry Shaffer Jr., of New Castle, was hiding in the rear cargo area when the victim left the Club Escape Gentleman's Club about 4:15 a.m. Saturday.

Police say Shaffer hit 21-year-old Cara Metrocavige in the face and pushed his foot on the gas pedal in an attempt to gain control of the vehicle before she convinced Shaffer she'd drive him home. exactly when did the word 'beaver' become the colorful euphemism we all know & love today? It obviously wasn't in common usage back in the days when Leave it to Beaver was in its original run. I was in elementary school, after all, and I don't remember even the slightest hint of double entendre associated with the kid's nickname. It was only later - perhaps in the *late* '60s - that I can recall anything even remotely risqué about the word 'beaver.'
