Its Election day in Wisconsin, lets get to work.
We have two Democratic seats to defend today, let's go to work.

On a side note, let's talk.

DU Family, because that is what you are. I am no longer going to wait around for the President to change the dialog of this ongoing debate. That said, I am not going to engage in anymore "venting," "Obama bashing" or anything of the sort. I have been doing it since the Health Care Debate and I give up, it's not doing any of us any good. (In fact it just raises my diastolic rate! And i'm in my 30's, NO MORE) running someone against Obama is an order too tall to fill, that is a fact. Democrats in Congress are no where to be seen. Being that hell has not froze over, I cannot vote for a Republican.

This is where I am going and I hope many of you take the same path. The Tea Party is successful because they are holding their elected members accountable. I pledge to do the same. Fortunately I have my youth, I have my education, I have lots of friends, I have a few bucks, I have lots of free time and a big mouth.

And this is what I am going to do with what I have.
I am going to work tirelessly for STRONG, LIBERAL, SOCIALIST STYLE PROGRESSIVES. I may only be one person, but no longer will my vote be taken for granted. I figure it will be a lot harder for ANY party to cut Medicare, Social Security or Medicaid if the Congress is stacked full of people like Bernie Sanders and Dennis Kuchinich.

To Wisconsin: Love ya, and good luck today!

2. Thanks and I agree!
I've posted this a few times here on DU and I mean it with all sincerity.

Look, I am not happy with a lot of Obama's actions and all I am saying is, rather than give up on the party, look in your backyards to find politicians you support.

I am in Wisconsin. We don't have the luxury of being dramatic right now. Ask Ohio and Michigan and Florida, too. We learned a valuable lesson here in the past 7 months. We need to double down and bust our asses because IT MATTERS. We need to pull together and fight for what is right and we need to start in our backyards. Local politics matters. We are building our future national leaders and we have some great ones here in WI. Our Senate Democrats and Assemblymen are what all politicians should strive to be and I am working my ass off to help them. *We* are the Democratic party and it is what we make it. I am honored to be in the same party as Tammy Baldwin, Peter Braca, Lena Taylor, Gwen Moore, Russ Feingold and on and on and on.

Don't wash your hands of Democrats, work your asses off for the good ones. There are plenty.
