6. Rove and Perry hate each other like poison
I would sincerely doubt that Rove would be anywhere near a Perry campaign. if anything, Rove would be more worried about getting indicted under a Perry presidency than any other candidate in the race, both parties.

Karl convinced Perry to switch parties and run for AG Commissioner. He brought in a dirty-trickster guy named Dave Carney to take over Goodhair's campaign. Then, when Perry was running for Lieutenant Governor Karl asked Carney to cool it with the fighting dirty because it would hurt Dubya's race for Governor. Carney told Karl to shove it and the two have been enemies ever since.
