A question about the Koch brothers and Social Security

They are business owners and as such have to pay the employer portion of Social Security tax 6.2% on each employee. If they are successful at destroying Social Security, do you think they would give that 6.2% of wages back to the employees or would they keep it for themselves?.

They are billionaires so I believe they would keep it for themselves, you see they can never have enough.

1. OF COURSE they would keep it.

That's as bogus as the notion that tax cuts create jobs. Demand creates jobs. Every capitalist wants the other capitalists to pay better wages so there are a few cash-heavy consumers around, but none are willing to do it themselves. Not good for the next quarter's bottom line, ya know.

Henry Ford wasn't a particularly decent man, but he was at least a smart one, and had some degree of vision. He knew that paying decent wages paid off for him. And of course that was his first line of defense against unionization.

2. look what happened last week w the FAA

They shut down the agency, but the fed tax eas still being collected on every airline ticket. Where did that mi=oney go? Right into general revenues at the airlines.

few dollars but about CONTROL and demoralization. Sadism is in the mix somewhere, I swear to gods.
