Gov. Rick Scott Tries to Defend HIS Low Cost Government Healthcare!!!
Scott defends his low-cost health care coverage
By The Associated Press, Herald-Tribune

Friday, August 12, 2011

Gov. Rick Scott responded to criticism that he participates in Florida’s taxpayer-subsidized health care insurance plan for state employees by saying that he takes part in the same plan as all state workers.

Scott, a multimillionaire and former hospital chain executive, is not accepting salary for his job as governor, but is paying less than $400 a year for insurance for himself and his wife.

Speaking during an event to promote Florida’s tax-free weekend for people shopping for supplies, Scott defended himself saying “I’m participating in the state plan just like everybody else.”

Scott is among nearly 32,000 people in state government who pay relatively low health insurance premiums. It’s a perk that is available to high-ranking state officials.

12. And still Floridians elected this diabolical crook who they can't get rid of because there are no
recalls in the state of Florida. They're stuck with their decision unlike Wisconsin who can get rid of Scott Walker as of January 2012. Rick Scott is one of the biggest dirt bags walking this planet and I think he knows it, but just doesn't care......he's stolen his, he doesn't care about anyone else.

11. He took a 350 million pay out to leave, and he needs the taxpayers money for his healthcare?
Oh...he says he is not taking a salary...that is for tax purposes...he does not need a "perk".

This should be stopped!

13. As long as he can get away with it and there are no consequences to his bad acts, thefts, and nazi
like rule, who's gonna stop him? And anyone worth close to a billion dollars should pay for their own insurance and maybe help some others to get insurance as well. He's an anal wart on the butt of society.
