When we can arrest them, incarcerate them and execute them
then, you can talk to me about corporations being people.

Until that time, they are potentially immortal, blood sucking, vampires that need much more exposure to sunlight and the occasional stake through the heart.

Tell me how many "people" you know who can destroy the environment, poison the air, the water, and our food, kill people for money through negligence etc. who can get away with those acts by paying a small fine.

Hell, I can't so much as pour a quart of oil in the sewer (not that I would) without risking incarceration.

And...I have to pay taxes.

1. What about corporate marriage.
That is evil.

4. We had two grocery chains here in Cali that touted their merger as a "marriage".
It even had a very stupid and expensive ad campaign to go with it.

2. You are onto something big with that thought.
When they start being treated like ordinary citizens and liable for their crimes and misdemeanors as we are, and pay taxes the way we do then the argument may hold water. We have too many fascists on the SCOTUS. Clarence Thomas should be impeached.

9. Fat Tony and Uncle Thomas are the reason we HAVE to re-elect President Obama.
They can't hold out much longer, and we can't take the chance that an (R) pResident will appoint their replacements.

10. Completely agree.
I wouldn't take the chance. I don't like Scalia and Thomas has been a joke from his nomination.

3. Corporations were people before the USSC ruled they were
I mean, the people within the corporations already voted, could donate (up to a limit) in support of candidates and legislation.

Giving the corporation itself the right to spend on candidates and legislation should be unconstitutional because it in effect gives those within the corporation twice the influence of individuals now.

5. I'd just be happy if they paid their taxes at the same rate I do.
But, they don't -- and the largest aren't even really U.S. entities -- so, they're just Illegal Aliens. Deport them and only allow then to take 44 lbs. of luggage. It can be in gold for all I care. But, we keep the rest and use it to create U.S. jobs. :patriot:
