Here's the Newsweek cover shot and Bachmann's official photo

I think the difference is that in the Newsweek photo she is looking slightly above the camera.

Also, the official photo is airbrushed.


If someone knows how to shrink the photos down so we can see them side by side, it woul dmake for a useful comparison.

Anyone know what the story is for him? I remember several stories about Pellicano and his generally thuggish ways from the late and still lamented Spy magazine. If he's in jail, all to the good.

15. My sister in law looks the same in almost every photo ...

We've decided that my sister in law is doing two things in each photo ....

1) Trying desperately not to blink. Show she holds her gaze for too long. SO her eyes get extra big.

2) She doesn't like the flash, so she looks somewhat off camera.

Taken together, she looks like a Stepford wife. Her eyes appear forced open, and they are looking any where but at the camera.

That's not to say that Bachmann isn't nuts, I think she is ...

The other one was done by a professional who knows how to light his subjects so they don't have it in their eyes and casting harsh shadows.
