Oops- She used the wrong brownies!
Rose McGowan's pot brownies got realtors high

Apega/WENN.com

Realtors selling actress Rose McGowan's house got stoned on marijuana-laced brownies after a mix-up between the star and her assistant.

The "Grindhouse" star left a tray of the baked goodies out for the salespeople and potential buyers, not realizing they were 'edibles' her aide had made for her to try.

McGowan tells Chelsea Handler, "There were eight realtors and inspectors coming to the house... and you have to get out of your house... and I notice there's a big, huge plate of brownies that said 'Enjoy!' on the surround-wrap... and I just left, I didn't think about it.

"At 4:30 that afternoon, I get a call from my realtor saying, 'Erm, I'm at my parent teacher conference; was there anything in those brownies?'

And yet...nothing will happen to her. If a 'ordinary citizen' did this the police would be breaking down their door and taking away their family.

1. Actually, I think the realtor called 10 minutes earlier than that...
...at 4:20.

2. Oh damn....
If Bill H.625 ever passes here in Mass, Mr Pip says he'll probably get a note from his doctor (really bad knee pain).

I told him if he did, he'd have to smoke the stuff outside, forgetting that he has lung issues (Sarcoidosis) and can't smoke, so I'd probably be making pot brownies for him.

In which case I'll have to remember to hide them from the grandkids...

12. You don't need a "nebulizer," just go on line and look up vapor genie
a torch lit pipe with a ceramic bowl screwed in over the top of the actual bowl that contains the cannabis. You stick your torch flame down into the top ceramic bowl, which heats the cannabis to the point of releasing vapor (key here is not hot smoke, no smell, better high) which you can taste reaching your lungs, but does not burn or smell like smoke does.

Also there are things like tinctures that can be administered under the tongue for non-smokers.

Out of the shadows and into the light.

7. would you rather she get charged with something? if you got busted with brownies in NY,
the most you'd get is a citation and a $50 ticket.

8. No. I don't want to see anyone busted for it

And in the south, you might get a tank breaking down your door. Different levels of 'enforcement'....

Also, since unsuspecting outsiders were affected, I suspect even in NY the punishment would be more harsh.

9. Maybe nothing will happen to her,
but it may also depend on where the person is caught in possession or suspected of possession. Just look at what happened to someone far more famous than this actress:
