4. My question in the end will be how do the results compare with
previous elections? :( Hard to remain positive given early results, but if I were to try ...

Many of the races are close right now. Are they usually a complete blow out for Republicans? And, if so, I think even if progressives don't win three of six races, we've made them spend loads of money and time defending their seats.

And Walker is probably a goner in a few years, regardless.
