WTF? ALL but one Precinct has the RETHUGS ahead? For real?
That cannot be. I know it's early, but holy moly.....all those people in the streets 5 months ago? All those people showing up to vote? Five candidates cannot lose.....though we ARE looking at RETHUG precincts (initially), so there may be hope?

Encourage me people! :( Tell me we're going to win at least 3 and the rethugs aren't going to steel 5 precincts.

Even Democrats acknowledged that it was going to be an uphill battle. We'll take one or two seats.

10. 20-30% of returns have come in for most districts
One district even has 37% of their precincts in. This is not looking good. I can't believe with a huge turnout in Fond du Lac that we're losing there (King-Hopper).

15. The rural districts are smaller and so they report first
They also tend to be conservative. Hence, the early results almost always favor the GOP.

...we're signficantly behind in District 14 with 78% of the precincts in. Our only hope is there are some heavily-populated Democratic-leaning precincts which have yet to be counted.

18. Hope and change
Joseph Stalin: The people who cast the votes don't decide an election, the people who count the votes do.

If votes could create the changes we want and need, it would be outlawed.

Sorry to be such a negative nelly, but we've got a ton of history behind us bearing out those two quotes, so I won't be holding my breath. If the dems win I will apologize for inserting my pessimism here. If they don't, I'll feel just as terrible as everyone else, but not surprised or shocked.

31. Districts 14, 18, 32 are key
We're not going to win Districts 2, 8, or 10. So we need to win 14, 18, and 32. We're behind in two of these and barely ahead in the third. Unfortunately, even if we are able to win all three of those races, we STILL have to win BOTH recall elections next week of two Democratic senators.

From 23% to 79% counted?

Something SMELLS!

Now just about all of them are mostly counted except Darling's district which has been at 39% for a while now! Are they trying to do the same sort of flip with her? A sudden flip so we can't see which precincts she "grabs" her lead from (like Hopper)?
