stupid letters back and they almost always twist anything you say into thanking you for agreeing with them. It's a total bunch of bullshit. Calling them is not much better, you usually get some twit on the line. It's such a F'en losing battle in this country for anything that benefits people.

1. I hear you. I wrote to Tom Reed

about how SS and Medicare were all ready paid for by hard working Americans. That meeting those obligations was a contract the U.S. had made with its citizens not just a breakable promise. I also wrote that they are not handouts.

I just got back an asinine e-mail about how we have to cut spending to make the country fiscally sounder in the long term.

DUHH- First of all asshole Reed, you didn't really address the point of my e-mail, about how they are not handouts and are in fact a contract.

Second of all, history shows us that trying to cut the deficit in a recession weakens the economy and only puts more people out of work.

He's such a disgusting ignorant asshole.

There is no point in contacting him. I am not bothering in the future. Hope his ass gets booted.

I will only call or e-mail Gillibrand and Schumer.

4. I used to have a republican senator, When I wrote him

he wrote back, "I will vote however I want". He also said I was stupid in my opinion. I was against the 1997 telecommunications bill that deregulated so much.
