Please tell me we'll let the bush tax cuts expire next year.
I've heard that just letting them expire next year will account for a huge percentage of our deficit. After the cuts expire (if they expire) it will put as much as 2.9-3.4 trillion back into the budget over the next ten years.

So what happens when the TeaBaggers start screaming and moaning about this "tax hike" on the "job creators" and get the Congress and Prez to capitulate and fold AGAIN and renew the tax cuts?

Is this the next fight where the Teabagger minority bullies the rest of us?

1. It will become an election issue,
And yes, there will be a "crisis" created around it so that it gets pushed back another couple of years, if not longer.

4. If we start screaming and jumping up and down, can we head it off?
Can we neuter the Koch brother commercials and Grover Nordquist loyalty pledges if we tell our reps that this is the next wave of bullshit heading their way?

3. The GOP Unity pledge of Norquist's says tax expirations are the same as tax hikes.
No Republican will sign it. It's the next hostage-taker, and because of the Guillotine Proposal, it'll be capitulated to.

5. Perhaps the teabaggers will hold our food supply hostage for the tax cuts ~
they might as well, since their strategy seems to work. They have no negative repercussions for their hostage takings.

up their Bush Taxcut.

And when we do tax reform, have you picked up on the
phrases: broadern the tax BASE and 40% of Americans
do not pay taxes. They are talking about Income Tax.
Everyone pays payroll tax.

You are being prepared if you listen for more lower incomes
to start paying income tax. Broaden the Tax Bsse.

A major shift is taking place in this country.

Yes the GWS Bush taxcuts will eventually expire but so
will the Middle Class Taxcut and More lower income Americans
will start paying taxes.
