It looks like the US Chamber of Commerce is having a little buyers remorse

thing going on with the Tea Party lunatics they supported in 2010...

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which spent millions of dollars last year helping elect Republicans to Congressional seats, is struggling to convince the House it helped to build that the debt ceiling must be increased.

The chamber and other business groups have pressed with increasing urgency for Congress to raise the maximum amount that the government can borrow. They have cataloged the consequences of default at meetings, parties and dinners and over drinks.

On Tuesday, the chamber threw its weight behind the proposal of the House speaker, John A. Boehner, telling recalcitrant Republicans that a pending vote on the plan was a with-us-or-against-us moment that would be remembered during the next election campaign

Maybe you should have tuned down the racism and knee jerk reaction to comprehensive health care reform and worried more about such trivial stuff as raising the debt limit.

What were they thinking that these crazy egoist would march in line like the GOP from the early 00's?

Didn't they listen to the rhetoric that they were underwriting?

2. Actuallyu,m the Tea Party is just doing what the business groups want...
...The Teabaggers are just not as subtle about it.

I suspect the Chamber and Business Community aren't really worried about their goals -- They're just doing it too fast for them.

10. I believe these Tea Baggers don't even know how hard it is to get an amendment
to the Constitution. I honestly think that if they vote for one today, that would be it...

Something along the lines of, 'no, you stupid plebes-- leave my welfare alone!', I suspect.
