The real reason "The Undefeated" has been doing so poorly

It's not that it's a bad movie. Okay, it IS a bad movie, but we'll skip past that for a second.

The reality of this is, someone spent a million dollars making a two-hour movie about Sarah Palin, and released it just as Palin's fan base had moved on to Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain.

Oh, and there's the part about the title...third place in the Miss Alaska contest, second place in the 2002 Republican primary for lieutenant governor, second place in the 2008 election--from where I'm sitting, she's lost about as many contests as she's won.

Someone has plumped up the figures to make it appear that she's more popular than she actually is.

Palin's charisma was all that..

she was an attractive woman-of-a-certain-age who gave out "vibes"

40/50-ish men dreamed about "doing her"...their wives dreamed about "being her"..

she was common...low-class-ish and was not threatening to them..she was one of 'em..

she gave them hope that they or their kin could someday be just like her & get power & fame..

but they broke up with her because she quit paying attention to them, and now they have a "new gal"..
