the House 'leadership' on both sides of the aisle.

No longer has control of its members, especially those on the 'fringe'.

While I understand that the House controls the money, I would think that the Senate would be more forcefully vocal regarding the debt ceiling issue.

Unless they also have little control over their members.

What think-est thou DU?

I agree with Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin's words for House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio): “If you break it, you own it.”

1. I think it is McConnell way to "go around" the House Teabaggers.

Boehner has lost control of them.

However sounds like "Super Congress" could already be dead. No deal tonight.

2. We already have a congress that meets the requirements of

the constitution. All they need to do is do their jobs that we pay them handsomely to do. A "super congress" is a bunch of bull pucky and belongs in the manure pile along with the majority of both houses.
