Bombshell! Look where the Murdoch case is leading, public education propaganda?
This man Joel Klein, needs to be looked into. Where's the media?? This was the guy that was put there to orchestrate the "private charter schools are better" stories. Look at this article out there that is not getting traction. This is the guy, with one year at the company, that was sent to the UK to "fix Murdoch's mess"???? Check this out!

(snip)

Mr. Klein, along with News Corp. board member Viet Dinh, would keep the board apprised. By last Wednesday evening, Mr. Klein was on a plane to London to help manage the crisis from its core.

Mr. Klein's new responsibilities have raised questions about whether an executive is best suited to oversee anything resembling an investigation into his company's conduct.

On Monday, News Corp. announced it had named Lord Grabiner, a commercial lawyer, to head an independent management and standards committee to help investigate the phone-hacking allegations. The committee will report to Mr. Klein, who in turn will report to Mr. Dinh.

How Mr. Klein became a fixer at News Corp. partly reflects his importance in the eyes of Mr. Murdoch, who views education technology and the reform-minded Mr. Klein as vehicles to both profits and a legacy as an agent of change in the U.S. education system.

Murdoch is as dirty as they get. It doesn't surprise me that he hires other dirty people.

Just wow.

6. Murdoch Corp. must consider him to be quite a good liar.
That's my guess.

Klein must be viewed as a master manipulator of public opinion -- a person gifted at putting bad news in a good light.

Because those are the skills the Murdoch organization would most likely be seeking at this point.

If you can sell a perfume made up of rotten eggs, then you are the right pick for the job Klein got.

12. not only Klein
Peter Gorman, the superintendent of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school district and 2004 graduate of the Broad Superintendent's Academy, resigned in June to work for News Corp's education division. CMS is in deep with Broad and http://obsyourschools.blogspot.com/2011/07/gates-foundation-launching-new-cms-pr.html#ixzz1SVDdop5w">Gates - performance pay, lots of testing, etc. Gates is now funding a $200k PR campaign in support of CMS "reform" plans.

Murdoch also hired Kristen Kane, former COO of the NYCDOE and former National Purposes Director of the FCC's National Broadband Plan.
