Every single taxpayer should be outraged by this...
Sen. McConnell came out and said he doesn't want "co-ownership" of the economy. You're an elected official! Shouldn't you already be held accountable for the state of the country?!?! If a Democrat said such a thing, I would be mortified.

16. Well, according to every single Republican
talking head I see on TV their party didn't run it up at all. Their explanation is that Obama has been spending spending spending causing the entire deficit.

We all know this is ridiculous. But, why doesn't president Obama use the bully pulpit to refute this nonsense? When Obama put the Iraq War and the Afghan War "on the books" it allowed Republicans to make these outrageous claims because they can point to the entire debt accrued during Bush's wars as being owned by Obama. Now why would a Democratic leader allow this to happen? Why wouldn't he go on TV and show the charts that we all know so well illustrating how the Bush tax cuts are responsible for the deficit?

12. Take away ALL their money while they're in Congress
Let them get by on minimum wage

Let them try to buy their own health insurance

Foreclose on their houses

Punish anyone who didn't play by the rules

Give them only one term

Did I forget anything??

Think they'd get more real with the people they represent?

11. Instead of threatening to withhold checks from the elderly and disabled -
Mr. Obama should have withheld checks from the Congress. My guess is that compromise would've been met within the hour.
