Obama to speak on Jobs Report any minute.
Per MSNBC, they are waiting for Pres. Obama to speak about the Jobs Report and will cover it live.

1. Preview: "which is why it's so important to get our budget under control...
... so that the confidence fairies and bond vigilantes don't raise interest rates."

4. Talking about debt and deficit and how giving in to Republican demands will help create jobs.
:eyes:

The rest was just gibberish.

kick some ass to get the corporations hiring.

There must be something that a President can do during these times...let's say like an executive order.

No, he is not powerless. He just chooses not to use it in the areas that might have the most impact.

18. We need to open GOVERNMENT factories that will hire folks the corps
are not hiring (here in the U.S., too). They can make the things that the corps aren't making anymore and some new things like wind turbines and solar panels and electric cars, etc. If the corps want to buy the factories they can do it for a fair price if they agree to keep all the employees and the payscale (no CEOs making hundreds of times worker salaries, etc.) Come on America! If the corps are stabbing us in the back we need to deal with them.
