Edited on Thu Jul-07-11 08:43 PM by GreatCaesarsGhost
i just heard a piece on ABC Nightly News repeat and at the end a reporter in London said

paraprasing "we're told to expect an avalanche of arrests including police and a former editor."

Wow, if true.

2. I have never said this and will never say this again but
wouldn't it be awesome if Rupert got raped in prison? Its not even close to what he deserves but its a start.

8. I'm holding out hope for the shiv.
but then I've been told I need to work on forgiveness.

I put Rupert Murdoch in the same category as the worst of history's villains.

I remember reading an interview with him decades ago when he stated his goal was
world domination and that he would not be stopped and that he was going to do it
through the acquisition of media.

Fucker almost succeeded.

3. Too bad it doesn't look like the arrests will go all the way to Murdoch.

6. Those Brits can be rip-roaring bastards when it comes to some laws
While the public are up in arms about the hacking of the murdered girl's phone, what I think is chomping at the police's craw is that they hacked phones of dead servicemen and their families, and maybe even government officials and/or Royals. At that point, we're butting up against their Official Secrets territory, and they can and will put people away for a long, long time over that kind of stuff.
