I realize the thumbs up and thumbs down clicks on the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel blogs does not represent a scientific sampling of opinion.

Nonetheless, I have been heartened in recent days by the number of new, well informed advocates for the left who are making their voices heard there.

I am also heartened by the outright rejection of right-wing ideas and strong support for our President. These are from a thread on the Republicans withholding $89 million in unemployment compensation.

I've been seeing horrible ads on TV here in the Twin Cities about a WI Democratic State Rep, saying "She shouts too much. We need solutions, not more shouting." And then they show her revving up the union supporters.

They're taking a page out of the anti-Franken commercials.

2. I read that article last evening and noted many Dem comments which

surprised me cause usually the thumbs up ones are from the Walkers Right wing poodles.
