"There is no economic recession - just a bunch of lazy bums who won't work"
Overheard at Starbucks today.

I guess I should be priding myself on self-control, because I had to fight myself away from throwing my steaming hot coffee in his fucking face...

:grr:

2. To be wise is to know your limitations and faults
One of mine is flying off the handle with rage. It wouldn't be the first time I let my primal urges stymie my reason.

Hate is unhealthy to fixate on - it has destroyed a lot of perfectly good people.

And in the end, if you let it, hate wins, not you.

To use a Muslim word, conquering hate is my personal jihad. Not easy, let me tell you.

Especially when your primary role model was a very angry, very hateful ex-cop.

7. and that's the problem
for whatever reason, they identify with business, either because they believe they will be rich or own a business one day, or they need to feel better than other folks and so they turn to those out of work to fill that need.

8. Boy, I'm glad I don't go to Starbucks!
Coffee at home and I shop the sales of coffee. Hubby and I have our 3 cups between us every day....

It's a different world when you are retired. You look for ways to save money and be frugal. This is one of those ways...

10. Not all Starbucks are frequented by dumbshits
And sometimes, on the way to work, you need the life-altering properties of caffeine, with a little foam

15. Oh, I don't mean to imply that at all! My grown kids love Starbucks.
And I love European style coffee. The Italian macchiata and the French noisette are divine creations...:hi:

11. Yep. I assume they all were fired for being lazy
Or they quit because they're lazy...

Because in America, as long as you believe in yourself and work hard, you can become the CEO someday!!!

17. Well he was kinda right, but mostly wrong.
There IS an economic recession - because of lazy bums that won't do their jobs and fix the economy. I give partial credit.
