Keith's new Countdown--alternative Streaming Link HERE
Edited on Fri Jun-17-11 02:06 PM by librechik
Tune in at 6 ET for a daily livestream of Keith's new Countdown. Heres' the link:

http://www.msnbclive.eu/

It's a videostream from Switzerland that usually plays MSNBC all day, but they will skip ODonnell etc (I hear the show is 3 hours long! I could be wrong) for Keith starting June 20.

Because it originates in Europe, copyright issues are handled differently, so it's MSNBC without commercials but with MSNBC promos instead. It's not a bad stream, just a little gimpy sometimes, but it's a great alternative for those without cable and a serious MSNBC jones (or Keith jones, soon!)

I will post another reminder on Monday, and in the meantime feel free to visit RockinRooster's MSNBC site. (link above) It's not a commercial venture, but donations are welcomed, since Rooster has his own servers that need paying for. I have Rooster's permission to tell everybody about the link.

Seriously, I looked for months/years for a live stream of MSNBC. This is it. And it will have Keith too! Bettern MSNBC, huh?

5. Yay!
I was looking for a way to watch Keith. I don't have cable TV anymore, so I was SOL if the Current website wasn't going to stream it.

any chance Rooster would be open to letting someone make a Roku channel for his msnbclive.eu stream ?

12. There is still MSNBC on JTV
for the moment, but they are switching to all gaming at some point, and Rooster is sick of JTV management, so he's got his own deal now to transition.

10. On my cable schedule, it's listed as being an hour long, followed
by a couple of episodes of "Vanguard", and then a repeat of "Countdown".

13. Thaks, gk--Keith said something about 3 hours in the NYT profile Monday
have no idea what he was talking about, --Does the schedule say it's daily and new each day?

21. My schedule's not specific enough to say. It shows it as being
M-F and describes it as being "live". It looks like they're showing a fresh Countdown each weekday, with repeats every 2-3 hours throughout the night and into the next day, including some Friday night/Saturday day repeats.

:woohoo:

No more prison show news blackout!

24. That link has MANY channels. MSNBC, CNN, FoxNews, etc.

When you go to the link http://www.msnbclive.eu/

look at the top of the page and you will see where to click for several different channels.

There will still be a link there for MSNBC for the folks that want to watch the Lawrence O'Donnell repeat show that would air sometime after Keith's live show.

26. Here's some info

First of all, the link up in the OP is to watch it online.

Secondly, Comcast on TV does carry Current TV - Channel #107

Here's a link to Keith's new website: http://current.com/shows/countdown/
there is a place on the right side of the page to enter your zip code to find the channel number in your area.

AT%26T U-verse TV Channel 189
Comcast Corporation Channel 107
DIRECTV Channel 358
DISH Network Channel 196
Wavevision XDTV Channel 161

29. also, I'm almost positive that Current will stream Keith episodes at their website
maybe not live, but archived after airing, for sure. So if all else fails, you can still watch Keith online.

and I think the show will re-air twice, which is why Keith will be on for 3 hours a day (although I could easily be wrong).
