I don't have cable and I watch her online.

Somewhere toward the end of her show she warned us that things might be getting worse for Weiner with an extremely serious face. Shortly thereafter (there are so many breaks I don't know if it was immediately afterwards) she read the release which noted that the FAMILY SAID NOTHING UNTOWARD HAPPENED.

But the "17 year old girl" meme was out there and the expected hysteria ensued. Weiner did sent PMs to a 17 year old. Maybe even when she was 16, let's make it worse.

The cops dragged her PC down to the station and looked at everything she had. No crime was found. Somebody here made a huge fuss over the mother saying two PMs and Weiner's office saying five. I assume the mother didn't know that the girl requested Weiner to follow her again after begging off because of right wing harassment. The 3 extra PMs were after that.

But Rachel won't be able to say anything till Monday, will she?

Pretending this wasn't an orchestrated campaign looking for ANYTHING they could gin up into a scandal is hypocritical and...uncomprehending.

Frankly, men who fight hard for others tend to have dick issues. Maybe it's a hormone overload. Maybe it has to do with knowing they've made targets of themselves. Martin Luther King, Jr. certainly knew people wanted to kill him.

Instituting a moral purity test which our randy Founding Fathers carefully LEFT OUT of the constitution would be an act of suicide.
