1. A really "obscene" idea

We really need to come up with a major group of photos of what is really meaningful in our world today. No doubt the infamous pics have gotten more "exposure" from people who rarely pay any attention to the news. The news is out there but no one seems interested. We need pictures of free clinic days where people stand in line at 3 a.m. to get their teeth fixed. Pics of the homeless living under viaducts,in tunnels,in vehicles with another pic of those "shelters" that are now charging $7 a night for a hot n' cot. We need pics of our cold hearted leaders passing bills that hurt the poor all the while showing them in their fancy cars,playing golf,eating at belt busting fund raisers.News by itself does not carry the impact of a photograph and it's time to get the pictures out to really show people who seem to have blinders on.

i've written to Pres. Obama about the situation in the Congo. i realize we have no business being world police, but if there was ever a collection of humanity that needed help, it's the women and children of that country.
