I choose to support issues over people.
This Weiner situation is just another reminder as to why I will not go the mat for anyone, but will for ISSUES which are important to me (and what I believe should be to most Americans).

People are fallible...they will always be. Finding someone without clay feet is virtually impossible, nor is it realistic. We are electing politicians, not preachers here. When I need a lawyer I want a snake, not Mr. Nice Guy.

The only thing which this circus shows is how easily it is to disrupt the MESSAGE...but we can get it back on track by diverting our attention back to the issues as quickly as possible, the speedbump notwithstanding.

4. Then he chose to make himself the issue & then specifically lied about it.
It was his choice.

5. Precisely
I support issues over people as well and appreciate a champion of those issues. I understand that we are all human and have failings, yet I don't understand the absolute complete failure in judgement. It is the failure in judgement on this issue that leads me to question his judgement on others.

I don't care what he did, beyond it being an example of failed judgement.
